Cape Town Destination
The Pot Luck Club
Globally inspired small-plates restaurant on the sixth floor of The Old Biscuit Mill Silo in Woodstock, with panoramic Table Mountain views and legendary Sunday brunch.
About The Pot Luck Club
The Pot Luck Club sits on the top floor of an old grain silo at The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock — six floors up, with unobstructed views across Cape Town toward Table Mountain and Signal Hill. The setting alone is worth the visit, but the food earns its own acclaim.
The menu is built around sharing. Globally inspired small plates — often bold, always creative — arrive in a steady rotation designed for conversation. The kitchen is open and audible; the room hums with the kind of energy that pushes a good meal into a great evening.
What to order
- Any of the daily seafood plates — the kitchen leans heavily on the Cape catch
- Cocktails made with house-produced syrups and purees
- Sunday brunch: set menu with bottomless Cap Classique and a DIY Bloody Mary station
Practical notes
- Book well in advance — tables go fast, particularly Friday and Saturday evenings
- A discretionary 13% service charge is added to all tables
- Loud and social; not ideal for quiet conversation
Pair it with a walk through the Neighbourgoods Market downstairs before a lunchtime booking, or with a craft beer at one of the Woodstock breweries nearby.
What to keep in mind before you travel.
Reservations are essential and often book out weeks in advance for weekends. Walk-in availability is rare. Visit www.thepotluckclub.co.za to book.
