About Charly’s Bakery
Charly’s Bakery on Canterbury Street in District Six is South Africa’s most famous boutique novelty bakery. Founded by Charly and Jacqui Biess in 1989 (and featured in the international television show Charly’s Cake Angels), this Victorian candy-striped building is a whimsical paradise of confectionery art.
