How do I book a tour with TruCape?
Start by building a Travel Plan on our site. Once submitted, your guide reviews the itinerary, dates, and group details, then contacts you on WhatsApp or email with a custom quote and route plan. Your tour is confirmed once a deposit payment is made.
When do I receive a quote for my Travel Plan?
As soon as you submit your short list of destinations, packages, and dates through our Travel Plan system, we start mapping the logical routing. We will send you a personalized quote and draft itinerary typically within a few hours.
How does the deposit payment work?
To secure your private guide, vehicle, and dates, we require a deposit payment. The payment details and confirmation steps will be sent alongside your custom route quote. The remaining balance is payable prior to the tour start.
Can I customize a package or itinerary?
Yes. Every single day tour we run is private. Any package or destination list is just a starting point. We encourage you to tell us what matters to you so we can customize the route, pace, and stops specifically for your party.
What is included in the private tour?
Your quote covers private transportation in a clean, air-conditioned, fully insured vehicle, a registered professional guide, customizable route design, and collection/drop-off. Entrance fees, activities, and meals are quoted separately based on your choices.
How does weather affect our tour route?
Cape Town’s microclimates mean conditions change quickly. Because your tour is private, we are completely flexible. If Table Mountain is closed or Chapman’s Peak is blocked, your guide will adjust the day’s route on the fly so you don’t miss out.
